Before the appointment

No alcohol or caffeinated product's 24 hours before treatment and no aspirin or blood-thinning medications before the
procedure.

Wear comfortable or loose-fitting clothing, accommodating to your tattoo/appointment type.

Make sure to eat a complete meal prior to tattooing, especially if this is your first experience.

During the healing process, your tattoo will go through many stages, so it is important to have patience in order to see the finished product.

The healing period is the most important time following your new tattoo. This will include minor inflammation for the first 24hrs, scabbing, itching, natural peeling of scabs, skin weeping and of dryness to the area.

When healing with protective bandage (Sandierm, Tattoo Derm, Second Skin) Keep

bandage dry, it can get wet while in the shower, but you should NOT allow it to soak. This bandage is waterproof for showering, but not water resistant to submerging or soaking

Remove adhesive bandage in 4-5 days & wash with warm water & fragrance-free antibacterial soap

Do not Rebandage

DO NOT PICK/SCRATCH the tattoo!!! Picking scabs or over saturating with ointment can make your tattoo heal patchy, this is why we recommend using a tattoo healing ointment during this period of time.

DO NOT expose the tattoo to sun use sunscreen when you will be in direct sunlight.

DO NOT submerge in water (ocean, pool, tub, saunas, jacuzzies, etc.) until healing process is complete (min 4-6 weeks).

Once the tattoo has peeled/ flaked use a recommended healing ointment /moisturizer for 4-6 weeks.

Apply a thin coat of healing ointment 3-5 times a day

Healing ointments recommended;

NON-SCENTED water-based lotions (Lubriderm, Aveeno), Hustle butter, or recovery aftercare.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OILS FOR AFTERCARE SUCH AS: BABY OIL, COCONUT OIL, BIO-OIL, HEMP OIL, TEA TREE OIL, VITAMIN E etc.
